MAPokemon (“we”, “us”) is an independent, fan-made Pokémon GO reference site. It is a static website: there are no user accounts, no sign-up, and we do not run our own analytics or tracking. This page explains the limited data handling involved in running the site.

Information we collect directly

None that identifies you. We do not ask for your name, email or any personal details, and we do not operate a database of visitors. The site has no contact forms or logins.

Local storage on your device

The bag & battle checklist saves your ticked items in your browser’s local storage, on your device only. This data never leaves your browser and is not sent to us or anyone else. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We show ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and, where permitted, personalise ads, and to measure performance. This may involve information such as your approximate location, device and browsing activity.
